I've done quite a bit of uploading today. Most of these pieces I've been working on for weeks/months as I've been trying to find a way to get better (or at least feel like I am) with coloring. The experiments, have been a success and I have some techniques that are much faster than what I was doing previously, are laptop friends, and I get a look I that feels less imitative and more 'me'.

On the other end of the creative spectrum, my writing, I'm going to post a link a completed 'short' story of mine. I had intended to get submit this to my university lit. magazine, but that one reserves most of its student entry space for photography and art, so my lengthy story simply can't be abridged enough to fit in that publication.

The story is a 'side' adventure of Kaian, a character of mine. It occurs some time after 'Impressionable Youth', and include quite a few spoilers as far as my literary compilation goes. However, since the piece was largely done for, and refined through several assignments in various English courses, I feel its more a product of homework (like displaying a smiley face on the fridge) than it is marketable writing, so several quirks particular to each assignment are left in the story.
